Apples iPhone is unveiled at a press conference in central London, 18 September 2007. German telecommunications operator Deutsche Telekom said following a court ruling it would sell Appleصs mobile iPhone without forcing customers to subscribe to a mobile telephone service. But Deutsche Telekom will charge 999 euros (1,480 dollars) for the hot-selling multimedia item instead of the 399 euros charged when buyers also take a Deutsche Telekom subscription.
