Indian film actress Katrina Kaif smiles at the launch of the Philips Diamond Ambilight TV in Mumbai. Philips Electronics unveiled the one-of-its kind diamond-encrusted ambilight TV in India created in conjunction with the New York based jewelry company. The 42-inch Diamond-encrusted Ambilight LCD HDTV features 225 carats of close to 2,250 individual diamonds set into stylized floral patterns around the edges of the frame. The TV is claimed to be the most expensive globally at approximately INR 59,00,000 (US $150,000).
